To whom it may concern; I am writing this letter regarding the professional support given my company by Steven Keough. Steven has been working with both myself, on individual Sales Management training as well as key Executive, Managers, and the Outside Sales staff for the past six months. Speaking for myself I can honestly say that I have become a significantly more effective manager and decision maker during that period. One of the key "problems" our company had before Steve's began coaching and consulting was not only our inability to hire professional sales people but to keep them for more than three months. Steve helped me put together a process which began with creating an add to entice the candidates we were looking for, placing it in the newspapers where we were geographically looking for a rep,, having a job description in writing to use as an interview tool, proper follow up of references, and most importantly finding a "Chemistry match" for Dennis K Burke. Steve also provided us with historical information proving that a company should always have one to two more persons ready to be hired for each position immediately should a candidate not work out. This will eliminate the extensive time and search process of starting anew each time. Another key "problem" i was faced with was sales accountability and measurement. Steve has implemented a sales process which led to each sales rep creating their own personnel sales plan, based on each reps individual goals for professional and personnel growth. These plans have benefited me greatly in that the individual reps have themselves calculated specific measurable daily goals necessary to meet their sales objectives. I combined these individual plans together to create a sales team plan. Steve was also the leader in creating a job description for each and every position in the company, this allows management the ability to measure the individual to the specific job requirements, making the review process much more constructive and much less personal. To summarize, Coach Keough, as he is referred to at Dennis K Burke has worked successfully with all facets of management to create a structed, measurable, definable process allowing all departments to work towards a common company strategy versus "departmental islands" competing against each other. Steve, Just want to sing your praises a bit. I know sometimes as a coach you don't really know if you help people or not, unless they tell you. I appreciate your non-judgmental demeanor. I also noticed how you made an effort to find common ground, and encourage me from my worldview and still challenge me to stretch myself. I understand that most people want the cars, money, and stuff and that is fine. I just know how fleeting those things are and how quickly the happiness fades. I hope I did not offend you in any way. I was not referring to your comments on what your dreams are, but I have heard that many times. Anyway, good reminder to watch what I say and how I say it to everyone, prospects, clients, partners, etc. Also, I appreciated you reminding me that it will get done when I get it done and the pace I go is up to me and that is ok. That restored my peace.

Steve, I have to say your QuickStart program might need to be changed to the Quantum Leap Program. :) I can't believe how much you have helped me accomplish in 3 weeks. For the past ten years, I have completed a whole variety of programs to improve my situation and start living the life I want. Your simple and clear cut exercises to help create a vision & commitments on their own are powerful. Then you add in the other elements to bring everything together to guarantee results.
